Default 200 400 tdl

Played a mixed game live.

I raise UTG with 8632, loose asian dude calls from button, Noli Francisco calls from the BB.

Noli draws 2, I draw 1, button draws 1 (which means he probably had a crappy 1 card draw, but I'm not sure).

I brick. Noli checks, I bet. I don't ever bet this if the button is going to put a ton of moves on me. Button calls, Noli check raises. We both call.

Noli is pat. I draw an 8, button draws 1. Noli bets, I figure his range here is nuts to something like JT pat. If you haven't played with noli you have no idea.

Noli bets, I raise.

How's this look so far?

-Jason

Well, I suppose this is read dependant. Against many of the small stakes players I play against, raising a draw into a pat hand is spew because they'll never break or fold. Have you seen this guy break a pat hand before?

As long as he is breaking a decent amount of hands this looks good. In this game is it possible for him to fold a really rough 9 even? Obviously there are way more ways for him to be dealt a 9-J than a 7-8 so

Totally standard for me if I'm sure I'm drawing live. I don't like it much if a threebet makes me puke, which it might here.

I think I've only ever seen two other people do it, but it's a ridiculously valuable move.

Could be good. From what I remember of Noli you could get 3 bet light here as he is damn tricky. You could also just continue drawing and before you look at your last card ask him to chop the pot - he offered that several times because he's weird and funny when I played with him. seems like spew to me.. esp against Noli whos not going to just fold to your raise.. If he does break you obv increased your equity but people dont break this spot often. Were u going to snow him or draw if he broke?
