I have been in and out of Short positions on Ryland and Beazer for a few months now, these have been very good positions for me and I don't think it's time to turn around and buy yet. I am out of Beazer now and not going either way since the lawsuit can create a very volitle situation, I may trade an option spread on it though. Ryland, Lennar, Toll Brothers etc haven't hit bottom yet.

I am long, however on REIT's but you have to choose them carefully. REIT's that are involved in mainly commercial and rental properties should be fine, they still pay great dividends. Some Mortgage REIT's like AMC have been hit hard though so be careful there too.
