Default R/C Jets with Real Turbine Engines!

Doesn't look like the 250mph they claim, but still pretty incredible! Link

Wow...now that does look like 300mph!

I don't think I would want to be anywhere near either of these planes (jet or glider) while being flown. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

There's a show called Radio Control Hobbies on the DiY Network. They profiled these things before and seem really cool. They're really expensive and they implied that you need get a license to actually fly one of them.

As an aside, my 5-year old daughter pretty much has no patience at all for any adult TV show, yet she is glued to the set when Radio Control Hobbies is on. I've never understood why.
