I don't know what "holla" means, but I'm booked for it. I am a 6'2" effeminate male, if you see me, don't hesitate to say "hello sailor".

Also booked the package. Couldn't say no to a few days in Vegas for my birthday, even though I've bombed every attempt to qualify thus far. Hoping to make it town before it gets too late on Sunday night, but we'll see, wedding hangovers can be tough.

Well, I'm about to head out the door for my overnight drive down to Vegas from Denver.

I also hope to make it down there to play in a few events over at Binions prior to this event.

See ya guys at the final table!

So, this is dead right? Nothing showing in the link in the first post. Guess I missed the boat...

As far as I can tell this promotion is 'full', also the Rio is showing as completely booked for this time period. The ship has indeed sailed...

Thanks HP! FYI, I got in yesterday and am staying right now over at the Four Queens. Played yesterday in the Binions Classic $150 event (really nice tourney I must say, with the exception of the Aussie drunk punk kid who sat down prior to my going out).

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

I'll be the heavy set woman in her very late 40's with oversized glasses, most likely with a LIPSTour shirt, and (LIPSTour) dealers cap on.

I just got checked in at the Rio and received the tournament structure sheet. Wholly crap, I thought it might be a luckfest...and I was right:

start with T5,000, 20 minute blinds

Levels:
1 100/200
2 200/400
3 500/1,000
Break
4 1,000/2,000 - 100 ante
5 2,000/4,000 - 300 ante
6 4,000/8,000 - 500 ante
break
7 6,000/12,000 - 1,000 ante
8 10,000/20,000 - 2,000 ante
9 15,000/30,000 - 3,000 ante
break
10 20,000/40,000 - 4,000 ante
11 25,000/50,000 - 5,000 ante
12 30,000/60,000 - 6,000 ante

I guess I'll have to make sure I shove a couple of horseshoes up my behind beforehand (ouch)

The jump between level 2 and level 3 is brutal. Not much of the field is going to make it to the first break.

Although I was able to get the package, I had to cancel because of work. It looks like I have about as much chance of winning being at work as if I were actually playing in the tournament.
