The difference is that the PPT puts up the prize money....so if they want you to stand on your hands, do cartwheels, or whatever, then that's their choice. On the other hand, the WPT prize pool is completely comprised of the players who choose to play in it. Therefore, they should not force you to sign waivers so they can profit on your image.
