Default 400NL - KK, I lay down my overpair with 3:1

How bad is this ?

Villain is a 20/13 (92 hands), not tricky and kinda nit player. I'm very aggressive in the blinds, especially when I'm HU vs a nit, though I don't think he has adjusted his game much because he hasn't been 3-betting me a lot or being aggressive with his draws or marginal holdings.

I'm pretty sure I fold this 0% of the time. Chuck the kings away getting 3-1? That's crazy talk in this spot.

Since opponent is tight, most likely QQ AA or JJ
however the more the opponent gets tricky the more ur forced to call in this spot, flush draws etc
So in short call 3:1 = definite unless u have a perfect read.

4 bet this pre, if you're picking on him and he's getting sick of you, he's not gonna want to fold after 3 betting. If I did just call pre I'd do what you did, then call the push. Folding KK here after putting in that much of your stack is really dumb.

I forgot to precise that he shoved pretty fast (2-3 seconds after my raise). Don't really know if it's important though.

Note that it's a call even if you knew he would play like that precisely with {AA,KK,QQ,JJ}. In fact, it's even a call if you weight down the QQ holding 50%. Add in other hands from time to time and it's a mile away from even being close.

Ok thx that's exactly what I wanted to know. I figured I was only beating QQ here so I thought the call was wrong.
