esfandiari's act has gotten old very fast....whats the over/under on how many times he says 'gross', 'sick', 'i love poker', 'i love this country'.

[/ QUOTE ]Don't forget, "i'd be riding camels back home'. He really needs some new material. Makes you realize how phoney these guys are on TV.

I do think Doyle's fold is a slightly bad. Like someone else said, you can take JsXs almost entirely out of Jamie's range as he'd bet it on the flop, or checkraise it. So he loses to QsXs, and beats all other flushes. And given Jamie's monstrous tells his range is approximately any flush, slightly weighted toward the higher ones.

hollywade, it's one thing if u don't agree with the decision, but ur reasoning behind it is terrible

[/ QUOTE ]

My reasoning is that Gold is the worst player at this table and his bets deserve the least respect. He's a maniac. This is terrible reasoning?

Anyone think that in the first hand, the reason why Antonio can call Sammy's exact hand (A9) is because he saw his cards?
Cause later Benyamine told him that he could see them when he picked them up and he's on the other side of Sammy.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I kind of thought that.

I dont think he can call his cards w/ just seeing a flop.

I remember reading in Jmans trip report that Jamie Gold was not supposed to play in the 500k buyin, and Jman was going to get a seat. But after winning the $200k or whatever he won, Jamie decided to play after all and bumped Jman out. So I suspect that this 500k is a very significant amount of money to Jamie, so I doubt he would have tried to get it all in on that flush hand.

If this is true, and Doyle knew Jamie only had one buyin, he might have been more willing to call the 100k turn raise.

Wasn't DN the guy who snagged Jmans seat? I'm not positive, was just under that impression.
