Default ALARMIST POST: All sites down simultaneously

Any chance this is related to some government intervention or some effort by ISPs to block access to these sites? It's just weird that so many poker sites have gone down at the same time.

Dude. Their all on the same ISP in Canada, the problem is with the host, not the poker site. This has been written several times in the Zoo by Stars employees over the past week or so.

Sorry, I should have added some caveat that I don't really understand how these things work and am just freaking out.

Or just not made the post altogether.

Dude I seriously did the same thing as you this morning when PS, UB, and Stars went down. Luckily Alex Scott from Pokerstars posted right away that there was an ISP problem.

This thread can probably be locked, and I will consider myself officially chided for being one of those guys that only visits the Legislation forum when he's freaking out about some insignificant event.

All the sites are hosted in Kahnawake, about 45mins outside of Montreal, Canada, likely just a routing issue.

This is weird, I really had no idea. Is there any particular reason all the major sites are hosted by one particular ISP? They aren't all based in Canada.
