When did Youtube turn into a pile of crap?

I remember months ago, I could get on youtube and look through their most popular/most funny clips and find at least a few decent vids to watch.

Their top page now is filled with non-english clips, a bunch of fake "omg boobs" clips, and nothing worth watching for at least 3 pages.
