Default Windows Media Center for notebook comps

i just bought a refurbished 9000d? something or other series by HP laptop on ebay cuz it had an OS other than vista. i didn't realize it had this Windows Media Center OS on it, which, by some research online it claims to be exactly like XP but with a "push of a button" (it comes with the remote) comes to life as a media center for TV, music, etc.

anyone have this? which XP is it more like, professional or home (i'm assuming home)

any conflicts with known programs?

No conflicts that you would notice.

You can uninstall the media stuff from the control panel if you wan't but otherwise this is just a patched-up version of Windows XP home with a couple of programs added to it.

Anything that runs on XP will run on the Media Center OS.
