Default Cap 6 max and turbo

I've been noticing that these are my games of choice when playing online. Then I took a little trip to AC and although I wasn't entirely disappointed in my play, I did find myself getting bored and having some difficulty maintaining focus. It got me thinking about why I play the CAP NL and turbo SNG's, and had this not so good feeling that I've somehow become drawn to these games b/c of the fast paced action nature of the games. Then when I get into a live full ring or tourney, I really have to "gear down" my mindset, so I can be patient. Now, I do well in these games online and am able to build my roll, but my question is, is the nature of these games bad for my overall developement as a poker player? Do you think they can form bad habits by emphasizing the "gambling" side of poker?
thx
