Default $5+0.50 JJ on button early, raised ahead of me

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t1530)
UTG+1 (t1490)
MP1 (t1380)
MP2 (t1440)
MP3 (t2120)
CO (t1340)
Hero (t1530)
SB (t2170)
BB (t500)

Preflop: Hero is in Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="gray">UTG folds</font>, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>, <font color="red">MP1 raises to t80</font>, <font color="gray">MP2 folds</font>, <font color="gray">MP3 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, Hero calls t80, <font color="gray">SB folds</font>, BB calls t60

Flop: (t250) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, <font color="red">MP1 bets t250</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to t700</font>

Preflop, I'm not reraising here with JJ - it's just not strong enough this early. I also don't want to fold with position.

On the flop, I'm not worried about BB (if he called a raise and flopped two pair then whatever) and I don't want the pre-flop raiser to get a a chance to bluff me on the turn if a club or overcard comes.

I think it's ok but my standard line would be to re-raise preflop. I think we have a bit too much of a hand to just flat here, more likely than not, we have the best hand.
