Default [$22/180] Vaporlocked with TT preflop

It's early... I've been somewhat active but have shown down only good hands and have already built a nice stack.

MP3 has been calling a lot of raises preflop. SB has been reasonable... not too active, not too tight so far.

the problem with calling here is that you won't fold to 3 6 9 Rainbow flop, when you can be completely beat..I think i'd fold make a note and move on.

FIST PUMP, PUSH, karma brings you 99, then 9 hits on the flop.

1115 for a pot that will be 1570. Maybe a teeny weeny itsy bitsy FE too.

You raise from MP2 and his raise is really bad/odd.
Question is really does his range include stupid dogshit like Jd10d and KcQc and crap that would do this because "he has a strong hand, but not THAT strong."

I dunno. I go for it and push. You have a big ass stack, it's early, players do odd things against big stacks, reactions change, that to me sticks a 99 and/or an AQ in his range, once you stick those two hands in, easy push, maybe KcQc does that, easy push there too, nh.

Not deep enough for a call.

One nice thing is if he has AQ or AK, then MP3 folds his Ax, you're happier.

Barry

Whats the range for an average 20/180 man to re pop out of position?

I think this becomes a close gamble and I understand and agree that we are in position to gamble with our stack.

shove often here. villains range is 55+ AJ+ and KQ, maybe slightly weighted to the better hands so that you are a hair behind but with any FE and the money already in pot its a good spot to shove.

With that stack I shove and isolate villian hoping it's overs. But I think we can do this even with a range of KK+, AK for SB. I think MP2 goes away most of the time to a shove by you because it's gonna look really scary.

I don't think that this is a squeeze. The raise is so small, it's kinda scary. If SB would have shoved, i think it's an easy/EV+ call. Even with MP3 in the hand, your implied odds aren't there to call and play for set value, b/c SB is acting 1st and prob shoving any flop. I think that i'd just let this go.

Yeah, I definitely played this badly and I agree that a shove is probably the way to go.

But I feel that I had good reason to be wary here. I had a huge stack, I raised 4x instead of 3x, there was MP3 still in the pot, and his raise was for over 20% of his stack... so I put him on a much tighter range here: JJ+, AK.

But I was getting about 3.5:1 (not including MP3's additional 180 if he came along), so I decided that the odds were sufficient for me to call and, on the flop, a) push any flop if he checks, b) push over any bet or check if the flop is J-high or worse, or c) fold if he leads out on a flop with a Q, K, or A.

Not sure if this was particularly good reasoning, but at least I had some semblance of a plan. Like I said, though, I was kinda vaporlocked on this one.

I don't like calling here...only reason i can live with it is because we have position but if MP3 calls then we are sandwiched and very few flops will make us happy 3 way...shoving negates any tough decisions later cause I would be tempted to call a push on a Q high flop anyway and will be pissed when he shows QK..
