Me behind the wheel, no more than 110 or so. In the passenger seat more like 150.

Not my story, but it was a friend in highschool. He had a tricked out Kawasaki (RX-11 or something like that), got caught by the fuzz doing over 100, didn't feel like a ticket so hit hit the gas and was soon doing 180. Cops were loooong gone.

That's when the helicopter showed up and pulled him over. The cop in the helicopter gave him a ticket for 100 in a 55, which was a HUGE break because the big penalties (like automatic loss of license) come into play at double the speed limit (110 for the math challenged), and that's not mentioning the fact that he was running from cops.

Why was the heli-cop so generous? He said he had the same bike.

OK, I didn't see it happen, but I was friends with the guy and he swore it was true.

Was riding in back seat after a pickup basketball game one night. We were in my friend's Infinity (actually his mom's car). We were doing 140 going south on FM 105 in Texas and we were passed by a Vette doing at least 160. It pissed my friend off because he owned two Vettes and he tried to catch the Vette but couldn't in the Infinity.

Also, I used to have a car with a digital speedometer and I'd switch it to km/hr when my nephews got in. They were really impressed when I'd get up to 140-150 on the interstate. They never figured it out.

105mph in a borrowed Mercedes on I-65 going through Alabama.
I was 16 and the speed limit was still 55mph back then.
Good times.

170 mph in an M6 on Highway 93 south of the Hoover Dam (the road that connects LV to Highway 40). It didn't even seem like it was fast, that car is so smoooth.

There's a great 20-30 mile stretch of flat and straight road there. See this for more info: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Las+Vegas,...c=addr&om=1

130 in my brother's Z28 LT1 on a narrow 2 lane country road. I had just shifted into 5th and had to slow for a corner. Btw it had a 6th gear that I never had the privelege of using.

About 135-140 in my old 911. Never really maxed it out.

I was a passenger on a motorcycle going about 110 weaving in and out of traffic on a fairly crowded road(coastal highway Ocean City, MD) while I was on acid. That was pretty sketchy and I can't really say I recommend it.
