My advice to everyone who reads this is to uninstall Nortons, mcafee etc and use NOD32 instead.

It really is the best by FAR.

Or use AVG, Avast....anything but Norton or McAfee. I've heard super things about NOD and I've used AVG and Avast for many many years with no problems and they use very little system recourses like NOD.

The most noticeable tune-up I can give a customers PC is to uninstall Norton or McAfee. In every case they are shocked at how much faster their computer is. Many don't believe me when I tell them I didn't do any sort of hardware upgrade.lol

I've never used NOD but eeye is the most locked down you can get your pc from my experience and from that proseptive, if you're willing to lock down your pc(like in a business application) eeye is the way to go.

Avast uses a lot of processes and AVG free is below average at best.

multiple AV/anti-malware apps is sorta like wearing more than 1 condom during sexual intercourse.

Windows Defender was slowing my machine to a halt. Couldn't get it to stop churning all over files and inspecting them whenever it felt like it.

I'm getting pretty sick of all the popups from ProcessGuard and SnoopFree too. Stupid computers
