It's not really an overbet though ddubois, he doesn't have many other bet sizes open to him on the river. I'd call it anyway, he could be value betting AJ, or 3 barreling because the diamond draw missed.

From his perspective, QQ is so far towards the top of your range it's almost outside it so he probably thinks he can push you off a worse one pair hand. Which is probably correct if you're thinking about QQ

if its 2X pot then maybe but his stacksize here means you cant really weight his range based on the shove vs a smaller bet IMO. also, nuts is relative since you flatcalled preflop here. he obv isnt worried about you having an overpair.
