v wierd hand btw, you have have to call as played

[/ QUOTE ]

Why is this wierd? I encounter this situation on a constant basis. I think a lot of this depends on how aggro HERO is - and thus, how likely villain is to float.

I would b/f this turn too - but as played, ack, I think you have to look him up b/c spades missed. But I think you are going to be beat here a good amount of time.

hm wouldn't a solid 20/15 player often raise the flop with a fd?
and wold he really call the turn with just a fd?
i think i still put it in on the river because he would only bet if he got us beat and cb a lot of hands from which we might get value

Ya, obv. it seems more likely that he's on a decent pair. But he could've flatted the flop w/ something like Ts8s, and then picked up a pair on the turn. I dunno, i'm tired

What is your image at table? Also, has villain been 3-betting a lot PF or flatting a lot of raises in position?

I'm trying to see what he's coming up with here on the river that has you beat. The board was kind of dry'ish except for spades on flop. The flush didn't come, so what the hell could he have?

As it stands, I'd call and if he has 66 or flat-called QQ PF (both rather unlikely), then oh well.

Very hard spot.
I really dislike the fact that he 2/3 pot the turn and pot the river. It screams value to me.

If it was the other way around I'm more inclined to call river or a 2/3 on both streets.

Grrr, tough spot, we only beat a bluff.

He bets the size of your stack, and we got 2:1 for a call.

QQ+ (hoping a squeeze), 66, J8s, 33, A3s, 34s..

Probably fold, you looks strong and the river didn't change a lot a thing.

This river PSB kinda looks like a bluff to me. I think as played the river is a call, but I like bet/folding the turn better than c/c turn and river.
