Default Re: A series of problematic hands (1/2 is raping my soul)

1. I'd play it the same. Can't fold turn with the FD.

2. Against an idiotic LAG I'm tempted to cap flop and lead turn. Then call down... IMO it is ok the way you played it too.

3. Tough hand. The river-call is pretty slim here, without a specific read.

4. I like it. I'd probably chicken out on the river too :-)

5. Tough hand again. I'd like the flop action better on a TT6 board than on the T66 board. But it is quite likely that SB can have 77-88 here i guess. If you think that MP's raise on the turn could possibly be an Ace, I like calling down here.

6. Fold preflop. Tough hand to play against a super-LAG-tard. Postflop ok, have to take it to SD.

1. You want to fold your tp +fd on the turn? The hand was played fine the first time.

2. std.

3. super easy cd

4. It's fine. I usually just call the turn though and raise most rivers.

5. std

6. lol at pf. This is not the kind of hand you want to play for a raise when you're the raiser. It's one thing to play this in the BB with a few other people, but you're going to hit good with this hand quite infrequently. You don't want to be in a spot when you feel required to keep betting with a hand like this. The rest seems fine as long as you're planning on folding the turn UI after the flop call and the river UI after the turn call.

Hand 1 - Fine

Hand 2 - I occasionally lead that flop, HU I'm always check-raising, but fine otherwise.

Hand 3 - Very easy calldown, you can 3 bet in most situations too, but it's read dependent, I'm not sure I have enough information here ("idiotic lag") that tells me what you should do.

Hand 4 - I think we have a value bet on the river, I like the turn raise, but not if you're going to check the river.

Hand 5 - This hand is fine, I'm much more worried about SB with a 10 than anything else. Donking the river might be a good idea here.

Hand 6 - There are much better hands than this one to steal with, but I'm definately raising the flop. On the turn, as played, you still might want to consider raising, and this hand should probably be folded pf because we don't know if we ever have a good bet here on the river - If we're holding JQ I think our bet is easy IDK.

I think hand 5 is a fold after the flop CCer wakes up and the flop bettor calls 2 cold.

1-3 and 6 look good to me. 4 I'd just call down. 5 is the closest and the flop is raise or fold; depends how often SB is donking a gutshot or some crap.

1-3. Seem fine. If you've lost all of these hands, I don't think there's much you can do.
4. I'm ambivalent about the turn raise. I think your line is screaming made straight and betting the river after villian checks might sell it w/o a showdown. But, I don't really think you've got much fold equity if villain has something like KQ, QJ or the same hand as you. Alternatively, if you call the turn you have the option of raising the river when your OESD gets there.

5. Fine. I think you're toast here. SB and BB both seem like they've got a T. But, the pots too big to fold.

6. Prob not the best move to make PF on some lagtards. Wait for a better spot to punish these guys.

Hand 1: Does everyone raise the flop UTG with Q9s? Not a big deal I guess but I rarely do that and my Vpip is kind of high. I usually with until CO to play that hand. I play it the same after that though.
Hand 2: thsi is probably weak and Ill be glad to hear if anyone thinks but I b/c the flop and call down from there. just call down.

Hand 3: same

Hand 4: I don't have balls for the turn raise. Well didn't see the sd, prolly still don't ( nice play though)

hand 5: I want to escape that multiway with anything. I call down but probably lose bets on the way.

hand 6: I dont mind calling down BB with that read , I don't like the sb there though.

Disclaimer
I am only at 1.6bb/100 for 5k hands at 1/2 so take FWIW. Thsi is an exercise for me as well. Edit: I just realized all my advice was call down lol, Im so weak. You prolly be best to ignore what I say.
