Christ, 50 beers in 24 hours is gonna be tough. I routinely finished case races in college and was able to put down 36-40 in a day, but 50 is serious business. We're talking Beerfest-style training.

Perfect plan, I see no flaw here.

This is so gay. 50 beer is 24 hours is so easy. In our student bar we have a 24 hour contest every year. The idea is to drink as much "ad fundums" as possible. All time Record stands at 124. The average winner has around 80-85

I love threads like this because it always brings out a bunch of 18 yo kids who think they know everything about drinking, and their group of college friends know how to drink better then everyone.

99.9% of the population wouldn't be able to finish 50 beers in 24 hours. It's something that only the hardest of alcoholics, or the fatest of men are able to accomplish.

I am 27, been 6 years in college, so I know a great deal about drinking since people basicly start drinking at the age of 10 over here.

And of course puking is involved. A whole lot of puking actually

And it also has to be said that a normal beer over here is only 25 cl and if I am not mistaken it is 33 in the US?

How to practice for challenge:

Put on your robe and wizard hat, do a line of coke.. and get to drinking.

As for if it's going to be possible for most people, probably not. Somewhere around 36-40 is going to be where most people are going to pass out and give up. I lose my taste for beer after about 10.. I'd much rather drink 14 or so long islands which would have the same amount of liquor in them as the 50 beers.

haven't read all the responses, but if this beer is 5% then it would be impossible for some1 of 180lbs to do this as their bac would be above the .5% lethal line. I once did 31 in about 14 hours on St. Patty's (all 5%) and probably could have forced myself to do another 4 or so without puking and aybe more if I stayed up longer, but I had a formal to wake up for and predrink the next day.

Also, whoever said they couldn't the the OE is a pussy, I did 2 40s of 10% black label supreme in 15 minutes during edward forty hands.

Beer ball race...55 beers (sort of a mini-keg)

We had races during college...2 man teams with no puking.

My buddy and I finished in 4 hours so approximately 27.5 beers a person.

Continued to drink the rest of the way. I'm 5'9" and 160 lbs.

BAC calculator said i would blow a .557, which is legally dead.

However, I'm typing this message, didn't pass out during the contest, and continued drinking for the rest of the day.

My roommate and I lost the race btw.

As some of you know, one of my goals on my vacation is to complete the 50 beers in 24 hours challenge. I've been drinking for about 8 hours now and I'm about to finish beer #24. I'm not really that tired yet, but I've run out of beer. I plan on completing this challenge from start to finish this Saturday. Don't doubt me [censored]!

[/ QUOTE ]

Could do that with my eyes shut

add me to the list of people who think this is doable...but then i drink awful lot of beer on a nightly basis..

for the right incentive, i'll sleep for 12 hours, get up in hte 2am-3am range, drink 20ish (as earlier proposed), eat a ridiculous breakfast, and then sleep until 3-4pm...then that gives me 10 hours to drink another 30ish..

i'd put my own money up, i think.

a good 4-5 snooze i think is the key. and if i'm within say, 4-5 beers with 20 minutes left, i'm going das boot on those bitches...

also, is puking legal? if so, that'd help tremendously..also, a vicodin or two over the 24 hours would add to my chances..

i'm putting my chances at 50 beers in 24 hours at (+170)...and i'd take those odds, i believe..

edit: i started the night with 26 bud lights downstairs, and started drinking about 945pmish, we'll see how many i drink tonight, though i'll probably have a couple redbulls and vodkas, which'll take away...guessing, by 5amish, i'll have drank all of them..
