Oh. Write better then.

Thanks for the advice. We try. I'm not trying to make excuses, but this isn't the best part of our next episode. It just happens to be the only part we have filmed.

Empty_House : I thought of it in < 2 minutes, what do you expect? I'm not saying it's great, but it's clearly much better than some fatty getting kicked in the side.

I'm not sure, I'm not really involved in much of the technical side, but I know the editing software was pretty good(maybe around $500-600?)

The camera is some kind of digital camcorder that records to little tiny cassette tapes(abotu the size of a tape from an answering machine)

I'd say the software+the camera cost anywhere from $1000-$1500. But he already had this stuff before we decided to do this, so it's not like we have much more than our time invested.

Yeah, I've just always wanted to do something like this and wondered how much it would cost to get the equipment together.

Thanks a lot for the feedback (even if it was all "You suck")

I think there's a few things going on here

-OOT's average age is probably early to mid 20's. Target age group for our show is something like 14-18.

-The editing isn't great. Although this probably doesn't influence how funny this clip is, it would add to the overall quality

-This isn't our best work

-Maybe we really do suck

Regardless, it's something we like to do. Even if nobody likes it(we're probably going to seriously re-consider continuing with the show if the second episode is a bust), I'm still glad we're doing it.

It's definitely better than, down the road, saying "I really wish we had gone through with that show we wanted to make".

I feel like working on this show is a better hobby than other stuff we could be doing. At least this way we have something to show for our work(even if it's not especially great), and there's always the possibility(admittedly, odds are against it) that it will lead to something.

good efforts so far, you just need more content, for something to be funny something has to be there first. the whole episode focuses on the idea that you are fat and over exaggerates your inability to run and your camp guy being mean. (even that last idea is kinda visy-vashy cuz he hesitated and was like "are you ok"? then starts comforting you. but then he was kicking you?? which one is he?? the jack ass or the caring counsellor?) these simple(maybe incoherent) ideas dont justify the time length spent on it. add more content and u'll be well on your way
