flop AAA
Live game, 2-5 NL. I have about 500. I raise 25 in early position PF with AA, 2nd or third from BB. 4 callers. flop is A,9,7 no flush draw. I bet 50, first guy to my left calls, others fold behind. Turn comes with a card to the straight I think a 6, but his call would have to have been with a gut shot on the flop. I bet 75, he raises 75, I go all in for what he has left, about 300. He shows 5 8 and wins. Comment on my errors please.

Re: flop AAA
O.k., I know hindsight is 20/20. But what I was hopeing he had was a set after the flop. But since he didn't raise there, and did post turn, doesn't he almost have to have the straight. I'm not saying I fold, but rather just called his raise, and tried to show it down as cheap as possible ?

Re: flop AAA
Your biggest error was posting a 1c-2c hand in Medium Stakes

Re: flop AAA
your error is the small flop bet, it needs to be pretty close to pot not < half pot... this let him get in cheap and bust your ass
