In my experience, this cold call/4bet line from a shorty often is a medium pocket pair that puts you on AK (correctly so this time).
Your fold equity is pretty much 0, but you're in a coinflip - well, a slight dog actually, but there's dead money making up for that. If villain is weird enough to do this with a few worse hands that you have dominated, your EV just gets better. With all the dead money this is a must shove against a shorty, imo. Calling is not an option, your AK wants to see 5 community cards not only 3. |
