Default Before Maurice Clarett, there was...

Lawrence Phillips

Running down some kids after losing a pickup football game. These guys had similar fall from grace stories. Looks like Clarett is the favorite to get out of prison first.

Clarett/Phillips' fall from grace is way worse than Belle. Belle was an ass who corked his bat, but he was also one of the most feared hitters in the AL for a several year span before a degenerative hip condition ended his career.

Clarett and Phillips each achieved basically nothing due to their inability to stay out of trouble.

lol he didn't do that, but it really makes it funny to think of it that way. Belle chased kids away from his house with a bat on Halloween, which is funny because he had a candybar in Cleveland named after him at the time.

let's be honest... Lawrence Phillips has had a better football AND criminal career. Maurice has a lot of catching up to do.
