Default Help Me Badger Stars into HU Cash Games, PT 3

If at first you don't succeed, nag, nag again. If that doesn't work, nag some more. I know the old one is barely off the front page in this particular forum, but that's because you guys get so little traffic

Hello,

I'd written PokerStars about a month ago asking that the site consider adding one on one cash games to their lobby. While I enjoy many of the features which PokerStars offers, I also very much enjoy playing heads-up poker and because of this I spend a great deal of time playing on sites such as Full Tilt, Absolute, Pokerroom, and Ultimate Bet, which offer one on one play. I thought I would follow up and write in to see if there was any possibility of PokerStars adding heads-up tables in the near future.

Thank you for your time,

If you hadn't sent out an e-mail before you may want to send something more similar to this:

Hello,

I'm writing you to inquire about the possibility of Stars adding one on one cash games to their lobby in the future. Currently a lot of the competing sites, such as Full Tilt, Absolute, and Pokerroom are offering one on one games and I imagine are experiencing some success. I've always been partial to heads-up play, and currently play very little on Stars because it is not offered. If such tables were available I could certainly imagine myself spending a great deal of time at your site in the future.

Sincerely,
<Name>

We need to keep pushing

Hello,

Thank you for your email. It is something we do get requests for, and
while we have no immediately plans it is something that we look at from
time to time to see if the demand for the tables will be there.

Your comments are noted and appreciated, but we have no immediate plans
to
change this aspect of the site.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to get back in
touch with us.

Regards,

ScottW

hey maybe we should somehow get stars to reward HU players for STARTING games for them? I mean, if they;re not gonna open HU Tables, they should at least reward us for getting the games started? just a thought.

For those of you who got the "we tried it in the past and it caused problems" response I suggest sending in something like this:

Hello,

I received a similar response the last time I wrote in. While I understand that there was some hassle with people fighting over the micro-stakes heads-up tables you once had, I would like to point out that a number of your major competitors are offering this service and have been doing fine with it. As someone who frequents these games on a daily basis I don't see the problems that have been described to me by PS support. These games conduct themselves very smoothly.

As for the issue of chip dumping, which has also been described to me in the past, I know as well as you know that the availability or unavailability of heads-up won't have any impact on an individual who intends to chip dump.

I doubt I'm alone in saying that I'd really like to see Stars offer this service. Basically, if this service is provided you're going to increase your revenue, you'll please existing members of your playerbase, and you'll bring a number of new players in for the heads-up action who will also be splashing around in your other cash games while they're there.

Thank you for your time,
-Name-

You may also want to forward it, along with the previous e-mail to pokermanager@pokerstars.com

Keep pushing!

Hello Bryce,
Thanks for taking the time to write us with your suggestion. We realize
that there is considerable demand for heads up cash games in the online
poker world, and we are considering the possibility of adding them. I
can't yet say for sure if it will happen, but I can assure you that heads
up cash tables are currently being seriously considered by PokerStars
management.

Why don't you just play at FT or UB?
