when he bets 7777 he's trying to represent quad 7's, ace18 has one of the 7's in his hand so it's obviously a bluff and A hi is teh nuts

The a7 hand is awful.

Pushing the turn is a lot better play. What if the other guy is tripple barrelling 4th pair or AJ. He can fold that out...
