Default NL400 AK in rr pot, 2nd barrel?

Strungeling abit in 3bet pots oop these days, so hope for some thoughts on this somewhat standard spot.

Around 100 hands into the session. Villain is playing bad, stats on 52/7/0.72. Hero is playing 32/28/4, but has not shown up any rags so far.
Eff. stacks: 150 bbs.

Table Bamako-26 - $2.00/$4.00 - No Limit Hold'em - 22:46:28 - 2007/06/13
Seat 1: ross65f ($160.90)
Seat 2: Raslll ($418.50)
Seat 3: The__n00b ($544.40)
Seat 4: HERO ($618.24)
Seat 5: OBups ($121.62)
Seat 6: Villain ($630.30)
The__n00b posts the small blind of $2.00
HERO posts the big blind of $4.00
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***

OBups folds
Villain raises to $14.00
ross65f calls $14.00
Raslll folds
The__n00b folds
HERO raises to $60.00
Villain calls $46.00
ross65f folds
*** FLOP *** [6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] Pot: $134
HERO bets $92.00
Villain calls $92.00
*** TURN *** [6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] [5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] Pot: $318 (eff stacks: 460)
HERO bets $240.00

So obviously this is very player-dependent, but what do ppl think about the 2nd barrel?

Pretty poor spot for a double barrel against this type of opponent IMO. The board hasn't really changed and if he didn't believe you on the flop there's no reason to think he's gonna believe you here.

52/7 calling stations are not the people you want to be bluffing. Just wait until you have a big hand and bust him then.

This turn is particularly bad because:
1. It does not improve your range and makes it less likely he will fold a pair.
2. From his point of view it can seem like you could be pushing a lone big spade
3. He will now call with many pair+spades or maybe even lone big spades he peeled the flop with. (the most important consideration vs. a likely non-thinking calling station)

Haven't you learned to never bluff callingstaions? If not, it's time to do so.

the only hand he possibly folds is a split.

The turn card is a terrible card for this play, and guys like this tend to see the hand through once they've called the flop in these spots.

I agree with the three points made by MrHoobris.

One think I do like to add though is that villains like this peals flop alot (prolly any pair etc.), which supports frequent 2nd barreling.

Another problem is I have absolutely no idea if he insta stacks off with KJ/QJ/JT to a blank turn.

Anyways, villain timed and folded. I really didnt like the bet and asked a friend who said "standard, wp", which surprised me, hence this post.

Ty for the posts.

Really? I think a lot of 77-TT hands without spade call flop and fold turn. But jacks won't, and half his underpairs have a spade.

Do people like this play if OP has A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]? What about K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]?
