Black college football player caught on video raping girl

Apparently a black University of Minnesota football player has been caught on video tape raping a passed out girl, and DNA from his semen has been found on her clothing. So compared to the initial evidence in the Duke lacrosse case, this is an open and shut case. But where's the mass media outrage? Where are the NY Times and Washington Post Op-Ed pieces damning the culture of black football players? Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?

I believe the Lacrosse case had the entire team hiring strippers/hookers and multiple guys being accused. This seems like one guy raping a girl.

Read the police report. The guy who got caught on video is only the tip of the iceberg. According to the report, earlier in the night three other players had gangbanged the girl after she had done 8 shots of vodka.

Exactly, they aren't comparable because in this case there is actually strong evidence that a rape occurred. Yet this case gets no coverage?

The police report suggests that she was aware during the initial gangbang. It also states that she left with one of the gangbangers in the morning.

Perhaps people aren't as outraged when a black guy is doing the raping? It's seen as more commonplace maybe? Duke is supposed to be a "smart" school?

What would be interesting is to find out why these things happen, because clearly the youths of both the guy and the guys are major league messed up.
