Default Playing Cardrunners Videos on an Mac

I'm trying to do this on an Intel-based Mac. I have tried flip4pac and get audio but no video. I have tried other programs as well. Others have had this same problem, but I heard it can be solved. Does anyone know how to solve this?

They use a DRM mechanism on the videos that only Microsoft's media player understands. As far as I'm aware there is no way to play them on the Mac. I used Parallels to run Windows to watch them.

i know nothing about cardrunner's videos, and if it really is the DRM then i guess you'll have to run it on a windows machine. but you could try vlc?

I've tried a recent version of vlc as well as mplayer (from macports) and various conversion programs. Unfortunately none seem to work.

It's possible the latest bleeding edge, compile from source, versions may work. But I suspect for the DRM you'll need the mplayer approach which uses the actual Win32 DLL's - which is a no go on the mac (or linux).

Well you have an intel mac, so vmware fusion, parallels or bootcamp are options.

Common to all DRM protected WM files, there are ways of getting around this which can't be discussed here.

Did anyone find a solution that worked? I've been trying to run the free demo vid, but encountered the same problems.
