Question for BBV

So you sit down on at a 6max table with 4 players on it. You pick the seat that will get you the BB the fastest, not really caring about position against players. The game goes for an orbit, then a regular briefly leaves the table and sits down on your left. Whats the proper play?

In reality I'd probably do nothing. If I was really pissed off and wanted to make a point though moving to his left is clearly the best option.
