Default Re: Opponent ->Doesn\'t Care If Wins - Just Wants to Make Me Miserable

[ QUOTE ]
Sounds like you're trying to limp in a situation where you know limps won't get around the table. That's self defeating behavior.

[/ QUOTE ]

I came to the same conclusion a while back but it doesn't really matter much anymore since lately he wants me to have postion and usually sits on my right or a couple of seats off my right - that's so he can steal my blinds.

[ QUOTE ]

- try to win the battle of seat selection/change and get position on him most hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

sounds good but it's hard to get position when its your blinds getting attacked.

[ QUOTE ]

- stop limping if he's yet to act.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since I usually do have position on him on most hands it's irrelevant but when I don't, hands like Suited Connectors, Axs and small pairs get taken out of my arsenal. I end up just waiting for AA,KK, or QQ or AK.

[ QUOTE ]

- raise your playable hands, so that if he decides to go, he he'll be heads up

[/ QUOTE ]

I sure as hell do. I will raise to about 30% of our respective stacks and he'll still call me. He lives for the chance to crack my pocket aces. This is really the only weapon I seam to have though. When you go 5 hours with out a premium hand, it can be a long night.

[ QUOTE ]

- outplay him after the flop

[/ QUOTE ]

easily. I just need the right price for the right kind of preflop hand.
