Default Possible breakeven player?

Hello.

I am a small stake player now. Have been playing poker for 2 years and have always beaten the game for about 5bb/100.
I started at NL10 now I am at NL100.
Since June 1st until now I am breakeven. It seems like every pot I get involved in goes wrong. Bad beat or misread etc.
This is something I have never experienced before.
Any suggestions? Is it possible to run bad for 2 months? ~20000 hands?

20k breakeven appears to be very common

just make sure you aren't blaming deteriorating results on bad beats/coolers and you'll be fine

As they said, 20k is really nothing, but you should always try to improve your game. You may have been running bad but maybe if you been playing a little bit better you might have made a profit anyway. I dont mean that you have been playing bad, as i cant possible know that, but you should go through your big pots that you lost and won to see if you played it good or not, if you are unsure you can post hands in this forum.

If you've been beating poker at 5 ptbb/100 for 2 years, then you can be sure you are a winning player on a cold streak. As everyone said, there are far worse break even stretches possible.

I'm at a 20K breakeven stretch myself (in fact I lost $60 over past 19K hands.. what a waste of time lol) but I'm not worrying. I know I made some mistakes, but thanks to PokerEV, I also know I'm running bad. Better luck next month.

you are probably tilting man. Im not saying 20k breakeven @ 100nl is impossible, but its pretty damn unlikely if you dont tilt IMO. these people hate money.
