What is fair BR management for MTTs anyway? 100 buy ins? So need about 20k BR to be comfortably rolled for the Sunday million?

[/ QUOTE ]
yes, although i think 100BIs is pretty nitty

For a while me and Jfish were in talks of staking for the big sunday donkaments, but nothing materialized and he's not interested in staking anymore apparently.

I'm looking to get staked for just the sunday tournaments on FTP/PS. I would plan on playing anything up to the $200s but never above them without permission or unless told otherwise. I'm very open to altering details of the stake also if need be.

I've transferred money with a lot of people in here, and I've also been staked previously by Jsnipes for cash games, which worked out pretty well for the both of us. I'd like to say I'm pretty +EV in these tournies but truth be told I don't have a lot of MTT experience. The experience I do have is also mostly with buyins $50 or below. I've had a good bit of success in those, fwiw.

Anyways, that's that. If you're interested PM me and hopefully we can work something out. A lot of people can vouch for my credibility and I like to think I'm pretty good at this game they call poker.

don't you play 200s? why would u need staking when the tournies cost 1 buy in?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not since June.

And I'm generally risk advserse, that's why I'd rather play them staked (at least for a while) than with my own money. I'm rolled for all but the $1k buyins, and maybe a little underrolled for the $500s, but like I said I'm sort of a nit when it comes to this and I'd feel better at this point in time to be backed for them.

We've all seen graphs/simulations of good players running well below their expectation for ridiculous amounts of time.
I'm convinced the same thing happens in life.
You have to work hard, but you have to run good too.
It's as much about working hard as it is about meeting the right person at the right time, or having the right idea at the right time, etc.
There is a lot of CHANCE involved in life.

very true, but you still get up every day and go on throughout your life, even when you're running bad

no point worrying about what you can't control. All you can do is put yourself in the best position to succeed (success is obviously relative).

Another thing, is that when you're running bad, you tend to blame more of it on bad luck then it deserves, and when you're running good, you tend to think you play better than you do. I'm definitely guilty of that

i think everyone is guilty of that. this is the reason why poker will always be profitable though. running good= gives lesser skilled players hope. hope= more money for us

So on Monday I went to the coop and got some medicine. Here is how much I've used to medicate myself since then.

15.9g Sour OG Kush
4.8g Platinum
2.6g Green Crystal
1.7g Super Sour Diesel
1.4g Princess
1.2g J-1
0.8g Mango
--
28.4g total

yikes that is a lot of $$ spent.

speaking of staking if anyone is interested in staking me for the 2.5k WCOOP plz PM me. If this doesn't happen I may be selling like half of my action.

I do play occasional tournaments, and am definitely +ev in this.I did play a 2.5 and a 5 @ the WSOP this year. 2.5 is just more than I want to put up for a donkament right now. in the past year and a half I'm up probably 40k in tournament play, with <5% of total poker time probably. if only I could stand playing them every day
