Most unpredictable NFL teams

This comment in another got me thinking, what NFL teams do y'all avoid betting because the variance in their week-to-week performances is too great and defies even the best handicapping?

These are my top 5:

1) Jacksonville
2) N.Y. Giants
3) Atlanta
4) Cincinnati
5) Pittsburgh

Maybe not this year, but my buddy used to have 2 rules of sports betting.

1) Never bet on the Saints
2) Never bet against the Saints

Add Carolina to that list.

New England is consistent but I hate their injury reports. You never know who is really injured.

Two more inconsistent teams are the Cowboys and 49ers. The Cowboys have won all their games by 17 or more (except vs. Indy). Yet they have also lost 4 games.

The 49ers have losses of 41, 29, 31...yet have also managed to win 5 games.

Good rule, I call it the "Jim Haslett rule". I'd say Atlanta & Cincy have joined the group this year.
