IMO the size of the flop bet was a major error. the 2/3 PSB on the flop gave weak draws better implied odds to come along. Flop bets need to be bigger. You can make turn bets smaller when your equity goes up. |

[/ QUOTE ] Off the top of my head I don't think it's possible for hero to flop TP Jacks and there to not be any draws on board. If there were only a gutshot I still don't like it. It's probably not terrible, but I'd still go full pot. I very rarely find a situation where a bet less than full pot is right. |

However, in general I disagree with this, by making bigger flop bets you lose value when you are ahead and you certainly lose a lot more when someone out flops you. And worst of all, most of the time when I am betting on the flop it is a continuation bet and I don't have much of anything, so it certainly costs you more there. |
