I played some hands versus a relative good regular. We played tight heads up poker - relative straightforward, sometimes some moves.

Hand 1 is a fold unless he's gotten WAY out of hand. He has to have absolute air for you to be good here, and I just don't think he does often enough.

Hand 2 is really odd. More often than not you are behind in this situation, but given odds stacking off is just fine.

On what do you put villain on hand 1?
My thought was that he has a draw ~80% of the time. I couldn´t imagine that he levels me in this spot. What is your thought?

Honestly I'd need a read/flow of the game to make a good analysis here. His equity is generally going to be 25%+ when he is drawing, and you're going to have on average 3-4ish outs when behind.

How often was he 3betting? How many times prior had he overbet shoved?

Hand 1 is super easy fold. You are behind so often it is not worth it.

Hand 2 is a call.

Im not comfortable with hand 1, feels kind of odd. Even with a read it is very slim at best IMO

In hand 2, Im interested how you would play 33 or JT? My point is, you need to bet the turn here and get it in vs most players

Hand one doesn't seem good, although your logic seems right that it doesn't really make sense for him to show up with anything. There just aren't too many combos of hands other than complete air you beat though.

Also I would play the flop the same. Shoving flop you are going to be getting it in with 15% a ton and the other times you are going to be getting it in around 50%. With 500 left behind, shoving is -EV unless he check/raises these all low flops as a bluff a ton, and if that were the case I'd rather check behind on the flop so you don't have to play a massive pot with a weak one pair hand.



Hand 2 I would rather bet the turn than check unless villain was float happy. Obviously your plan was to check/raise the turn for stacks, but if he is solid he'll check behind with most of his weak one pair hands where you could stack him if you bet that weakish 150 on the turn so he could shove with a straight draw (thinking he had some fold equity) and it would also allow you to get more money in against weaker pairs since he probably expects you to bet that card with your entire range and will continue with less.

As played, I think you can find a fold, although it gets closer to a call if he can turn some weak one pair hand into a bluff here on the river expecting you to play Kx by bet/folding. Of course, problem is though that Kx and AQ here are pretty much the same equivalent hand as you really only beat a bluff. Generally though people aren't that bluff happy so I think I fold.

I'd also bet more on the river like $250 so when he shoves I can be confident he won't bluff given how good of odds you will be getting. $150 into a $350 pot is just screaming to get bluffed, but I guess that was your plan. Not really too many hands he can be bluffing with though honestly, so not really a fan here in this spot

Standard plays would obviously be a fold in hand one and a call in hand two. But we don't have enough information on the session to accept the overshove call as correct, or the river raise as correct. FWIW, I really doubt the game has played out to the point where you can call with bottom pair/gutter here; you mentioned that the game is fairly tight and altogether there is barely two buyins at the table. Not a good time for this.

Also, based on what I know I'm guessing he has something like a flush draw and a pair on the first hand. K7 of spades or something.
