Hi, I have been hesitant to post here as I didn't want to add any useless info to an already mammoth thread. I wasn't sure if any of you had seen an online news piece regarding the Absolute issue, that was written by Jetset, a regular poster at Casinomeister and the person who runs Infopowa, which is an online news service/feed. The good thing about the article is that Infopowa has many online sites who subscribe to their service, and as such, this article will have been fed onto all of these sites. I thought that it was a good start in spreading the word, if nothing else.

This was interesting statement from absolute. Eventhough they continue to push that story I don't anymore trust them. So would it better to just say that they had somekind of leak and now it is fixed? Or provide some real evidence against this theory.

Just sent this email to media@absolutepoker.com - the group responsible for issuing press statements. I recommend keeping the pressure on until they address this situation with something other than the form letter response.

I know many pokers players that are aware of the situation. Many will never deposit onto your website now because they feel the situation has been handled very poorly. Many current absolute players are withdrawing money from their accounts with no plans to return. Basically - Players are worried about playing on your site. Do you plan to address these concerns.

In includes also "official" response from Absolute ...

Why no one so far calcuated some probabilities based on the existing HHs? Having a single agreed "number" around can stop many of the speculations.

From Absolute as summarized in the article above:

* Absolute has researched the suspect play exhaustively and to date has found no proof that the player had knowledge of other players' hole cards

Anyone get "exhaustive" from any of Absolute's broken English, vague, shifty responses? Nice of Casinomeister to just enhance it for them. Not shill-y at all.
