I'll admit the ukes thing is pretty cute and some of them are spectacularly done. And luckily it doesn't seem to have the level of potential annoyance that stuff like rickrolls and "aments" had.

I judge people by their avatar at times and some of the time I am wrong. If the avatar is boobs squishing together--though nice to look at--I am probably not going to take them very seriously.

Also, I HATE it when a poster has had an avatar for a long time and then switches it. Or when a good poster or poster that has been around a long time switches it up all the time. Alobar does this [censored] a lot. I'll go through a thread and then read a well-thought out post and think to myself, "I don't recognize that avi, who is that?...aye it is Alobar wtf! Don't change anymore!" Anyway, I am kind of a skimmer when I go through threads so that could be a problem too, I dunno.

LOL, agreed. I am tempted to change it to something Suns-related come the season though. Alobar isn't hardly the only one guilty though, and when I first started reading he and Eurotrash had Lee Hotti avatars so I confused them both all the time, although one of them had a montage so it wasn't identical.

tuq,

Yea, plenty are guilty. I was going to change 2 weeks to a Romo/TO montage, then about a week ago to a Cat Power gif. Good thing I don't know how to do it.

I hope Alobar changes his at least once more, though.

Aside from a month where I had Fry's dog from Futurama, and a week or so with a "better" Duke, I gave up and went back to what people knew. I figured the "new" Duke would be an improvement, but the masses spoke in an OOT thread so I reverted.

I'm weak.

Duke,

When you change, my world is temporarily in a tailspin.

What's wrong with a self-portrait?
