Re: Star Trek Being Remade by J.J. Abrams
[ QUOTE ]
Space - sure Shatner and Nimoy are around, but McCoy, Scotty, and Sulu are currently in the ground, somewhere around Venus, and out of the closet, respectively. [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure George Takai is still alive. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure George Takai is still alive. [/ QUOTE ] Considering he was in an episode of Heroes about four months ago, I would imagine this is true. e: I think he means that McCoy is dead and buried, Scotty got launched into space (literally), and Sulu's gay. But I don't think having the gay is going to stop him from being in it. |

Re: Star Trek Being Remade by J.J. Abrams
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I'm not a huge Star Trek fan (I do think Wrath of Khan was one of the best sci-fi/action movies ever made, though), but this seems to be an awful idea. [/ QUOTE ] The Wrath of Khan is easily the best of the Star Trek movies and, as you said, one of the great science fiction/action movies of all time. As for this being an awful idea, I can't agree. I am all for anything that brings that old crew back together for one last hurrah. I am especially looking forward to seeing Nimoy's Spock, again. Spock rocks so much. I just hope this project gets handled with class and not mangled. The last two Star Trek series make me ill. SpaceAce [/ QUOTE ] The last two seasons of Enterprise were a vast improvement and were actually quite good. The final episode was horrible, but other then that, its certainly worth checking out. [/ QUOTE ] The vulcan chick is pants-explodingly crazy hot. |

Do we care what JJ Abrams does just because of Lost? Nothing else on his imdb is really that impressive: some Felicity, some Alias, a writing credit on MI3... [/ QUOTE ] Abrams directed MI3 |
