Default Dual boot question

Is there a way to get XP and linux to use the same swap partition? I like to run a swap partition in Windows to keep fragmentation down, but I'd rather not waste twice the HD space.

Kinda long, but looks like it'll tell you all you need to know: http://www.bigwebmaster.com/General/...pace.html#toc7.

I got that on a google search, but kinda ignored it because it involved redhat 6 and windows 98. I'll trudge through it to see if it works, but I've actually got bigger problems now. Apparently the latest integrated intel laptop video chipset doesn't have a stable linux driver yet. There are various hacks floating around, but everyone uses the 32 bit version which I can't, thus creates even more headaches for me.
