H2 --> G4 (Villains horse, or knight)

Hero only has king left and can't move so, LOL TIEAMENTS

This is the only move you could have made anyway.

What do you do if he lets you move the bishop back?

Fact is, you must do this and hope he doesnt realise the implications of using the knight. But luckily most of the time people will move any piece but their king. Add to the fact that he will see it as an easy way to reduce you to your king only.

It's been eons since I've played chess with any seriousness but does this actually count as a tie? Seems to me it would be an instant checkmate anyway?

Thanks for the info, I didn't know this. I either won or lost, I was never so bad as to let a game run out into a stalemate like this. If I was clearly beaten I would surrender.
