I enjoyed The Cave a lot more.

Similar concept, just bigger budget, and more cinematic.

I really didn't understand the end of the Descent, maybe there wasn't actually any deeper meaning to it.

I liked the movie, though I think it would've been better not to show the monsters in detail. I like to think that our imagination scares us better than anything shown to us.

although true,
it still takes a lot of work to inspire that imagination,
and more often then not, when movies try to do this,
they scew it up really badly.

I remember Roeper giving Fellowship of the Ring a thumbs down because he didn't feel like everything was resolved at the end. What a jackass.
