Jak's in West Seattle Do take the advice on CitySearch re: quickness of service. They don't care if you have a linger but it might feel rushed if they don't know that is what you are in for. My favorite steaks in town.

Jak's is awesome. We usually hit up the Issaquah one. I don't know if the atmosphere qualifies as "romantic", compared to merely being a cool place to go. Maybe better suited for a nice birthday dinner, new job celebration, etc.

Best steaks around, and the UFO potato option is awesome.

Good god, no. Daniel's steaks are much better. I am not impressed with Jak's at all.

Then you've gotten a rare bad experience, or have an odd taste in steaks. Jak's is excellent, for a decent price. For romantic, I like Daniel's Leschi location. Six Seven is pretty darn nice too. Drinks are insanely overpriced.

I really like this place on Broadway - Bleu Bistro.

Again, agreed on Jaks. Maybe the locations differ or something, but the Issaquah one has always been awesome. I'd easily dare to say better steak than what I had at Delmonicos in Vegas (better sides at Delmonicos though), or Nine in Chicago. Less expensive as well.

the food at Palisades is good+not great, but its got a romantic atmosphere if that factors into your decision-making.

I like Canlis & the Met. If you're shelling out $$ like this, you might like to check out Rovers or the Georgian Room or the Herbfarm.

trip report whereever you go, pls!

I was in town last week and ended up going to an Indian restaurant in Bellevue called Mayuri (I think?). It's just down the street from Crossroads Mall. Neither my girlfriend nor I liked Indian food or really had much of it before, but we stuffed our faces both times we went. Incredible food. Doubtful it's what you're looking for, but it's easily the best food I've had in a long time.

All,

While we're at it, how about some suggestions in the ~$100 for two range. Thanks!
