Its a good spot to value bet only if you are confident in your read that he wont CR you. If you feel hes pretty tricky, then check, but if hes stragithforward then bet.

I basically thought this was a value bet. I bet $200 and he called. He had a set of fours. I still like the way I played the hand, except this is another question: does the size of my river bet invite someone to checkraise bluff?

Most opponents won't do it, but very aggressive very tricky ones will sometimes.

given the action i don't see you getting checkraise bluffed. also, if you were oop it might be a concern because it looks like a blocking bet, but last to act this looks like a value bet

This is basically how I felt. It would look like a value bet, but because it was pretty small it might still get called and at the same time was unlikely to get raised.

Wow I would never v-bet here, unless you were very sure of your read based on something besides the action so far. I think 2 pair will definately play this way a decent amount, and I can see a random three playing this way as well (obv. he rarely has one, but still).
