almost all of you are missing the point
jman played fine

[/ QUOTE ]

that is exactly the point.

he played fine.

nowhere above fine.

and... a guy who plays fine... does he really have any business thinking he should be challenging another player at that table... one that PLAYED much more than he did...to a headsup match for any amount? oh wait.. he didn't .. he just went home and from the safety of his keyboard told his fans that he "wanted to".

so it seems that while you get the point that he played fine... there is still much that seems to elude you

also... is "fine" really what you think he was shooting for?

quote of the year. Personally I agree with JDesab, I think HSP will be better without BA and Jman on. Although I am also looking forward to no Harman and the addition of others so it's nothing personal to Jman but he wasn't what I wanted to watch on HSP.

look .. that whole tight at a loose table and loose at a tight table thing is advice for beginners. i'm tired of this. when you play poker you play the game. this beginners chapter 1 view of the game is really annoying.

especially for someone with the supposed stature of your beloved jman. if he's that far behind the pros so be it. take your profit online and enjoy it.. you're just not among the best in the game so what. money is money. let the guys that you were up against that have been at it for 10 plus years get the recognition they deserve as the best in the world and you make your money online.

sheesh.. if you people are that blind to see that then you probably still think this is the year the saints are winnin the super bowl too!

lol yeah adjusting to table conditions is such beginner's poker. also i think i read someone in this thread saying phil hellmuth doesnt blow ass at deepstacked no limit, which means im literally arguing with a fencepost so im done.

you are right of course... that table was not made for 100k buy ins... jman's first mistake was to buy in short.

then again... barry g writes in his book that there is a certain advantage to buying short. have you read that.

i'm pretty sure that the idea isn't to nit it up and cling to that 100k like your boy did.

I also hope they get ride of any of the players that are or would be winners in the game. Fill the game with the Farhas of the world so we can just watch people spew off 100s of ks. Its good tv. Bad poker, but good tv.
