Default Rome tonight March 4

I'm a huge fan of the show but seriously tonight's episode has really turned me off. I don't just want to watch a show that is about nothing but human depravity. The political intrigue and warfare plotlines have been fully replaced by people just being really [censored] up.

I really liked season 1. I haven't been nearly as impressed with season 2. The storylines are dull...and the actors seem like they're going through the motions. I don't find myself caring about any of the characters this season.

I did enjoy the look on Atia's face when Antony was marrying Octavia, though.

They've started to pass over political/war storylines (like Antony's wife Fulvia starting a rebellion in Italy will be skipped over), presumably because they are running out of time.

However, I suspect that once Antony goes East politics will come back into play.

Yes, I'd prefer that Vorenus and Pullo would return to kicking ass. But I'm still quite content with this show.

ok, it's not season 1 that's for sure, but I still think it's better than 99% of the shows on tv.

It does seem like nothing is really going well for anyone that we like. vorenus has been taking a back seat in the last few episodes, we need him back.

awesome that atia got screwed though.

While I'm disappointed with this season, I still agree with the above statement. Season 1 set the bar pretty high, is all.
