Snakes on a Plane fell all the way to 7th place last week. It brought in just $6.16M for a total of $26.3M.
It's amazing a movie which has gotten such internet hype would got such a small relative box office gross.

I think its to be expected. I think too many people including me overrated the ammount of people online that would see it. In the end, the same people that always see movies like Anaconda and other similar low budget horror/thriller/action movies saw this, and some internet people. In the end, this will still make a huge profit for them, so im sure they arent complaining.
