the zambrano kazmir deal was terrible
arizona gave boston schilling for nothing the mets traded jeff kent for baerga and espinoza The yankees got david cone for 3 crappy minor league pitchers in 1995 Hell the mets trading cone was almost as bad- they got ryan thompson who couldnt hit anything that moved at all and Kent, who they traded before he got good.

These two were pretty bad both in 1997...
The Oakland Athletics trade first baseman Mark McGwire to the St. Louis Cardinals for pitchers T.J. Matthews, Blake Stein, and Eric Ludwick. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays trade outfielder Bobby Abreu to the Philadelphia Phillies for shortstop Kevin Stocker.
