however long it takes me to stuff something down my gullet (10min or so). i work in an understaffed busy pharmacy and we don't really have breaks, just sneak away quick when we have a chance.

garcia,

i eat whatever i feel like so i occasionally eat a lunch-type sandwich for breakfast:

peppered turkey, munster cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, dijon, salt/pepper, olive oil on a hero.

but a real breakfast sandwich is:

everything bagel, fried egg, meat product of your choice, hot sauce!

however a delicious sandwich is chix parm on a hero, or a meatball sub on a baguette!

in a nyc finance job, lunch break is the 15 min it takes to grab lunch and get back. add 20 min to eat and read online newspapers and catch up on rumors.

15 min for a espresso/coffee run. the timing across asset classes usually goes as . . ..

2:30 PM for commodities
3 PM for FX and Fixed Income
4 PM for equities

I took a 3 hour nap on my bed with my dog curled up next to me today....I guess you could call that my lunch break, since when I woke up I decided I was hungry and should eat lunch. I ate a turkey sandwich with provolone cheese between two pieces of toasted whole wheat bread

I skip lunch so I can get off an hour early and start drinking sooner.

30 minutes if it's scheduled (unpaid), 10 minutes if not (paid).

And I'm normally a very slow eater. This is the one thing I hate about my job. Aside from all the other things.

On this site having to work a real job means you have no right to thinly veiled brags.
