Default Michigan players / nextpokergame.com/ lansing event......

Have any of you played in the events at Trippers in Lansing.
I was curious what stakes of LHE they spread and also how the tournaments are? I am assuming that the games are full of young kids from Michigan State who have watched WPT too many times.
Also, it states that these are charities events. The only other charity event I have played in didn't allow check raising. Is that true at these games also?
Basically, I'm just looking for any good info about the games and tourneys they spread.
thanks for any input

All I know is no check raising. Haven't played there yet, but a friend said sometimes you can fire out a min bet if you're first to act, and no one will raise you thinking you are BET-raising, and therefore get a cheap draw OOP. I was surprised to hear that people were even thinking on that level there, but whatever. Good action overall I hear, but only 1-2 NL and 3-6 LHE.

5-6 1/2 NL games running Thursday-Sunday. 70+ players for the $30 Rebuy/Add-on on Thursdays, Friday $100 and Twice a day $60 on Saturday and Sunday seem to struggle with 15-25 players each. 3/6 gets runnings most days but only with 1 table.
