Default Scottrade vs TD Ameritrade

Subject pretty much says it all. I'm looking to invest about 15k right now into stocks and will be adding more to my portfolio on a pretty consistent basis from poker income. I will mostly be buying stocks for the long term and won't be doing tons of active day to day type trading. Which one would be my best choice and could you list some pros/cons/comparisons of the 2? I know Scottrade is $7 a trade and Ameritrade is $10 but other than that, is there any serious difference(market tools, analysis, etc)?

Most of the online brokers are about the same, they just have different sets of tools and research. Its a personal choice... take a look at the tools available and see which one you might find more useful long term.

I use Scottrade, and it's been great. If they have an office where you live, check it out. I've always found the B&M service good too.
